Position Summary
Do you love helping kids know Jesus, supporting parents as spiritual leaders, and equipping volunteers to serve with joy? New Hope Church is looking for a K–3rd Grade Coordinator to lead our ministry for Kindergarten through 3rd grade students.

This part-time (10 hrs/week) role focuses on building relationships with kids, parents, and volunteers while creating environments where children can grow in faith, community, and purpose.

About the Role –

• Part-time: 10 hrs/week

• Reports to: Effingham Campus Pastor and New Hope Kids Director

• Compensation Range: $18.70–$19.80/hr

What You'll Be Doing –

• Lead and oversee the K–3rd ministry at the Effingham campus

• Build relationships with kids, parents, and volunteers — always pointing them to Jesus

• Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers

• Equip parents as the primary faith leaders in their homes

• Manage classroom setup, prep curriculum, and schedule volunteers for Sundays

• Maintain a safe, fun, and welcoming environment

• Partner with the Kids Ministry team across all campuses

• Support ministry-wide and campus-specific events

The Ideal Candidate –

• Is a passionate follower of Jesus who loves children’s ministry

• Is a relational, organized leader and team player

• Has experience working with kids, families, or in ministry (education or ministry degree preferred)
