Position Summary
Are you passionate about worship, technology, and helping create environments where people can encounter Jesus? New Hope Church is looking for a Worship & Tech Team Leader to serve across all of our campuses, with the majority of the time spent at the Effingham Campus. This person will oversee the technical needs of our worship ministry while also helping plan and lead worship gatherings. This role combines ministry leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on support to help make ministry happen throughout New Hope.

Reports to the Worship Pastor
Compensation range: $43,000 - $48,900
Key Responsibilities –
Oversee the audio, video, lighting, projection, graphics, and stage technology for worship gatherings
Assist with planning and leading worship gatherings
Recruit, train, schedule, and lead volunteers
Maintain and troubleshoot technical systems and provide support for church programs, events, staff, and ministry teams
Set up and maintain church technology, including computers, networks, phones, software, and user accounts
Collaborate with church leadership and outside vendors on technology needs, upgrades, projects, and the Worship Tech budget
The Ideal Candidate –
Has a genuine love for Jesus, worship, and serving others, and is an active participant in New Hope Church
Has experience leading worship and working with audio, video, lighting, and projection systems, with strong musical and vocal abilities
Is a strong problem solver with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Builds healthy relationships with staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders and is comfortable serving both behind the scenes and up front
